Privacy Policy

Voice Changer AI (“the App,” “we,” “us”) is a voice recorder and voice-effects studio for iPhone. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes and how it is used.
Your recordings never leave your iPhone. Audio processing takes place entirely on your device. We do not operate a server that receives your audio, we do not require an account, and we cannot listen to anything you record.

For users in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, Bedouin Apps LTD is the data controller for the limited information described in this Privacy Policy.
2. Your recordings and audio
Everything you create in Voice Changer AI is processed entirely on your device, including:
- Recordings made using the microphone.
- Audio and video files you import from Files or your photo library. When importing a video, only its audio track is used.
- Voice effects, edits, and audio transformations.
- Exported M4A or WAV files.
- Saved projects and custom presets stored within the App’s private storage.
We do not upload, transmit, stream, store, analyse, or otherwise access your recordings or imported media.
There is no cloud audio processing or server-side audio rendering. Our employees and contractors cannot hear your recordings because the recordings are never sent to us.
When you export a recording, iOS displays its standard share sheet. When you choose to send the file to another application or service, such as Messages, WhatsApp, AirDrop, or Files, the file leaves Voice Changer AI at your instruction. The receiving service’s privacy policy then applies.
3. Information that is collected
The App uses two third-party services:
- Adapty, for subscriptions and premium-feature entitlement management.
- Google Firebase Analytics, for limited app-usage analytics and events.
Neither service receives your recordings, imported audio, imported videos, exported files, project contents, or custom preset contents.
3.1 Adapty
Adapty helps us display subscription offers, process subscription status, restore purchases, and determine whether your device has access to premium features.
Adapty may process:
- Purchase history and subscription status.
- The subscription product purchased.
- Whether a subscription is active.
- Renewal and expiration information.
- Basic device and application information.
- Device model and operating-system version.
- App version, language, locale, and country.
- An identifier associated with the App installation.
This information is used to operate subscriptions and premium entitlements. We do not use Adapty data for advertising.

3.2 Firebase Analytics
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve its features, performance, design, and reliability.
Firebase may collect or process:
- App interactions and usage events.
- Screens or features opened.
- Button taps and feature usage.
- Subscription-screen events.
- Purchase-related events.
- Session information.
- App version.
- Device model.
- Operating-system version.
- Language and country or region.
- An app-instance identifier.
- Basic technical and diagnostic information.
Examples of events we may record include:
- A recording was started or completed.
- A voice effect was selected.
- An editing tool was opened.
- An export was initiated.
- A subscription screen was viewed.
- A purchase or restore attempt occurred.
These events indicate that an action occurred. They do not include the content of your recording, the sound of your voice, imported media, exported audio, file names, project names, or other user-created content.
Firebase Analytics is used only for analytics and product improvement. The App does not display advertising, and we do not use Firebase information for behavioural advertising or cross-app tracking.
Google generally acts as a data processor when providing Firebase services to application developers.

3.3 Information we do not collect
We do not intentionally collect:
- Your name.
- Email address.
- Phone number.
- Contacts.
- Precise location.
- Recordings or voice content.
- Imported audio or video content.
- Exported files.
- Photo-library contents unrelated to a file you select.
- Advertising profiles.
Voice Changer AI contains no advertising SDKs and does not display advertisements.
3.4 Apple payments
All payments are processed by Apple through your Apple Account.
We do not receive or have access to your payment-card number, banking details, or Apple Account password.

4. Device permissions
| Permission | Why it is requested |

| Microphone | Required to record your voice and use Live Mic features. Audio is captured only when you actively use a recording feature and is processed on your device. |
| Photo Library | Requested only when you choose to import a video so the App can extract its audio track. We do not scan or upload your photo library. |
You can change these permissions at any time through iOS Settings → Privacy & Security
Without microphone access, recording features will not work. Other parts of the App may remain available.
5. How we use information
The limited information collected through Adapty and Firebase is used to:
- Provide and restore subscriptions.
- Determine access to premium features.
- Display appropriate subscription offers.
- Understand which App features are used.
- Improve the App’s interface and functionality.
- Identify technical problems.
- Measure App performance and reliability.
- Prevent fraudulent or invalid subscription claims.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your information for third-party advertising.
We do not use your recordings or voice to train artificial-intelligence models.
6. Legal bases for processing
Where the EU GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
Performance of a contract
We process purchase and entitlement information to provide subscriptions, premium features, and purchase restoration.
Legitimate interests
We process limited analytics and technical information to:
- Understand how the App is used.
- Improve its features and usability.
- Maintain App performance and reliability.
- Protect subscriptions against fraud or misuse.
Our legitimate interests do not include advertising or creating behavioural profiles.
Legal obligations
Apple, Adapty, or we may retain certain transaction information where required for tax, accounting, regulatory, or legal purposes.
7. Data retention
Recordings, projects, and presets
Your recordings, projects, and custom presets remain on your device until you delete them.
Deleting the App normally removes information stored in its local private container. Information may remain in a device backup if you use an Apple backup service, subject to your Apple settings.
Within the App, Settings → Delete all my data removes locally saved projects and presets. This does not cancel an active subscription.
Subscription information
Purchase and entitlement records may be retained by Adapty and Apple for as long as necessary to manage subscriptions, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and satisfy legal, tax, and accounting requirements.
Firebase Analytics information
Firebase Analytics event data is retained according to the retention settings configured for our Firebase project and for as long as reasonably necessary for analytics, security, and App improvement.
Analytics information may also be retained in aggregated or anonymised form where it no longer reasonably identifies a device or user.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request access to your personal information.
- Request correction or deletion.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Request a portable copy of your information.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
Because Voice Changer AI does not have an account system and we do not receive directly identifying information during ordinary use, we may not always be able to associate analytics information with a specific person.

We may request reasonable information to verify and locate the relevant data. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
California residents
We do not sell personal information.
We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act.
9. Subscriptions
Premium access is offered through auto-renewing subscriptions billed through your Apple Account.
You can manage or cancel a subscription through iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically delete recordings or projects stored on your device.
Deleting the App does not automatically cancel your subscription.
10. Children
Voice Changer AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
The App does not require an account and does not create advertising profiles. Recordings remain on the user’s device and are not sent to us.

11. International data transfers
Adapty, Google, and Apple may process limited subscription, analytics, or technical information on servers located outside your country, including in the United States.
Where required by law, international transfers are protected through recognised safeguards, which may include adequacy decisions, contractual protections, or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Google states that it uses recognised legal frameworks for international data transfers.
12. Security
Recordings and projects are stored inside the App’s private container and are protected by iOS sandboxing and file-protection mechanisms.
Communications with Adapty and Firebase are encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
No storage or transmission system is completely secure. However, because recordings and imported media are not transmitted to us, they are not exposed to the risks associated with our cloud storage or server-side audio processing.

14. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, its features, or its service providers change.
When we update it, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes may also be communicated through the App, its App Store listing, or release notes.
